So, there was a rocking dance party in my apartment today thanks to Treasure Fingers, the man with the golden touch. Ok, maybe it was just me, but with these tracks, can you really blame me?

In honor of the fact that Chromeo will be gracing us with their presence tomorrow night, I think its only right to dedicate a post to their level of extreme awesome.
This duo has been filling the airwaves with their electrofunk beats since 2004. The band formed in Montreal and consists of Dave 1 on guitar and lead vocals and P-Thugg on keyboards, synthesizers and talk box.
You might have also heard of Dave 1′s brother, A-Trak, who is nothing short of a Canadian DJ legend and makes up half of Duck Sauce.
During the 2010 Olympics while at the Chromeo show, I noticed a smaller, older woman who was staring at the group as they performed. The look she had on her face, as she held her hands together as if praying, was that of pure pride. I clued in to what was happening so I started talking with her and found out that she was indeed the mother of one of the band members. It was pretty amazing to witness what looked like one of the first times she had seen them perform live.
These guys put on an amazing show, and if you ever get the chance, I highly recommend taking the opportunity to see them live.
