I first started listening to Bright Eyes’ (aka Conor Oberst) music back in 2007. I was definitely hooked but also needed to be in the right mood for it as most of it is acoustic and touches on the soft side. At the time my job was forcing me to listen to Rage Against the Machine and System of a Down as a natural calming tool. So skip forward a few years and what do I run into on my old computer, yes Bright Eyes. I’d never seen a video before of his, and the first one that popped up was “The First Day of my life”. A beautifully written song about finding that one person who is your special someone. Now without getting too mushy, I’ll leave you with the video and you can come to your own conclusions. :)
