Isn’t it great when songs bring out genuine emotions…such as Love, optimism, joy and awe. This is such a cool cover of a early 1990′s Shai R&B soul quartet. Lemonade fuels this cover with emotion that is relevant to any listener, just don’t let your feelings get the best of you ;)
Straight quote from the song “girl i’m on my knees, beggin’ for forgiveness and your sympathy, but most of all my love i miss your company” hits home. I know I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve sometimes and when this track comes on it really shows.
I need a hug!
Enjoy a step back into the past…

Picture yourself cruising down the open highway, windows rolled down, warm ocean breeze slapping you in the face. I feel like that when i listen to this song.

With his laid-back vocal delivery and acoustic songwriting, Amos Lee draws inspiration from soul music, contemporary jazz, and ’70s folk artists like James Taylor. In 2011 his album Mission Bell debuted at No.1 on the Billboard top 200 chart.

Stressed? Throw on some Amos Lee and feel it melt away.

Hello my name is Diplodicus…..just kidding. I’m Adam and I am new here. Some people call me Chunk! I’m here to pass on excellent music from well deserved artists.

Born in Chicago, Mark Farina known world wide for his chunky-funky rhythms and deep underground house, has inspired many followers to indulge in the jazzy down-tempo dream. This track isn’t new but every time I hear it I lose track of the world around me.

Listen and enjoy.
